Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,369.39) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Elsbeth Juda - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Henry Moore In His Studio At Much Hadham, Hertfordshire, Working On 'King And Queen', 1953, which sold at auction in September 2017 for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,836.28).

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.369,39) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
