Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work California Foothills by Elmer Wachtel was sold in the California Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,680.00 (€ 7,085.52). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elmer Wachtel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The California Coast 40 x 60in in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 168,825.00 (€ 153,073.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit California Foothills von Elmer Wachtel wurde im August diesen Jahres in der Auktion California Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.680,00 (€ 7.085,52) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Elmer Wachtel erzielen.
