The work Grand Canyon, Moonlight by Elliott Daingerfield was sold in the American Art auction at Christies in New York in February 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 27,500.00 (€ 21,026.07) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Grand Canyon, Moonlight is the most expensive artwork by Elliott Daingerfield that we have observed at auctions so far.
