This artwork by Elliott Daingerfield achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in October 2013. In the Interiors auction, the work Vision Of The Dawn (A Study) sold for USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,976.90) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Elliott Daingerfield - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Grand Canyon, Moonlight, which sold at auction in February 2013 for USD 27,500.00 (€ 21,026.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Elliott Daingerfield erzielte im Oktober 2013 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Interiors wurde die Arbeit Vision Of The Dawn (A Study) für USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.976,90) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Elliott Daingerfield mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Grand Canyon, Moonlight beobachtet, die im Februar 2013 für USD 27.500,00 (€ 21.026,07) versteigert wurde.
