Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bouffant Pride by Ellen Gallagher was auctioned at Phillips in London in June 2019. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,133.70). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ellen Gallagher achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Deluxe in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 987,750.00 (€ 760,509.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bouffant Pride von Ellen Gallagher kam im Juni 2019 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.133,70) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ellen Gallagher erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Deluxe im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 987.750,00 (€ 760.509,70).
