The work Portrait Of A Lady, Circa 1785 by Elizabeth Terroux was sold in the Swiss Made UNLOCKED auction at Sothebys in Zurich in June 2020. The »bidding war« ended at CHF 1,750 (€ 1,646), 46% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Elizabeth Terroux have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 12,500 (€ 14,015).

Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady, Circa 1785 von Elizabeth Terroux wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Swiss Made UNLOCKED bei Sothebys in Zürich versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von CHF 1.750 (€ 1.646) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Elizabeth Terroux auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit im Juli 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.500 (€ 14.015).
