Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Climbers by Elizabeth Neel was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2020. The price achieved of GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,359.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elizabeth Neel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Humpndump in September 2018 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 33,693.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Climbers von Elizabeth Neel kam im Oktober 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.359,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Elizabeth Neel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Humpndump im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 33.693,86).
