Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Vase "Double Fault" by Elizabeth Fritsch was sold in the Made in Britain auction at Sothebys in London in September 2017. The auction ended at the price of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,672.56), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Elizabeth Fritsch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Quantum Pocket III, which sold at auction in October last year for GBP 15,120.00 (€ 17,614.63).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Vase "Double Fault" von Elizabeth Fritsch wurde im September 2017 in der Auktion Made in Britain bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.672,56) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Elizabeth Fritsch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Quantum Pocket III beobachtet, die im Oktober letzten Jahres für GBP 15.120,00 (€ 17.614,63) versteigert wurde.
