Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Elis Eriksson could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art & Design auction, the work "Untitled" changed hands for SEK 17,000.00 (€ 1,606.51) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 18,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Elis Eriksson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work ”Ohöljd - jag visar mej - mej inte” in October this year with an auction result of SEK 80,000.00 (€ 6,775.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Elis Eriksson konnte im April 2018 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design wechselte die Arbeit "Untitled" für SEK 17.000,00 (€ 1.606,51) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 18.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Elis Eriksson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ”Ohöljd - jag visar mej - mej inte” im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 80.000,00 (€ 6.775,17).
