Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2007 Sothebys in Sydney held the auction Important Australian Art, which included the work Australian The Vale by Elioth Gruner. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 16,800.00 (€ 10,120.26). Admittedly, works by Elioth Gruner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Australian Mingoola Valley in May 2007 with an auction result of AUD 150,000.00 (€ 92,232.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2007 führte Sothebys in Sydney die Auktion Important Australian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Australian The Vale von Elioth Gruner zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 16.800,00 (€ 10.120,26) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Elioth Gruner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Australian Mingoola Valley im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 150.000,00 (€ 92.232,22).
