Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Australian The Unploughed Field by Elioth Gruner was sold in the Important Australian Art Including Selected International Works auction at Sothebys in Melbourne in August 2007. The price achieved of AUD 16,800.00 (€ 10,046.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Elioth Gruner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Australian Mingoola Valley in May 2007 with an auction result of AUD 150,000.00 (€ 92,232.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Australian The Unploughed Field von Elioth Gruner wurde im August 2007 in der Auktion Important Australian Art Including Selected International Works bei Sothebys in Melbourne versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 16.800,00 (€ 10.046,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Elioth Gruner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Australian Mingoola Valley im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 150.000,00 (€ 92.232,22).
