In April 2008 Christies in Dubai held the auction International Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Feuilles D'Automne by Elie Kanaan. The »bidding war« ended at USD 39,400.00 (€ 25,308.32), 58% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Elie Kanaan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Girl in a Field, which sold at auction in March 2015 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 64,007.08).

Im April 2008 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Feuilles D'Automne von Elie Kanaan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 39.400,00 (€ 25.308,32) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Elie Kanaan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Girl in a Field beobachtet, die im März 2015 für USD 68.750,00 (€ 64.007,08) versteigert wurde.
