Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Lebanese Landscape) by Elie Kanaan was sold in the Middle Eastern Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in March 2019. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 15,625.00 (€ 13,916.10). Admittedly, works by Elie Kanaan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Girl in a Field in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 68,750.00 (€ 64,007.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Lebanese Landscape) von Elie Kanaan wurde im März 2019 in der Auktion Middle Eastern Modern & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 15.625,00 (€ 13.916,10) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Elie Kanaan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Girl in a Field im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 64.007,08).
