Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Collie (Boy), Blue by Elad Lassry for USD 6,300.00 (€ 5,453.60). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Photographs at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Elad Lassry have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Collie (Roof), Pink Chair in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 45,821.11).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Collie (Boy), Blue von Elad Lassry für USD 6.300,00 (€ 5.453,60) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Photographs bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Elad Lassry auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Collie (Roof), Pink Chair im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 45.821,11).
