A top price for Elad Lassry - as previously expected
In May 2014 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Collie (Roof), Pink Chair by Elad Lassry. The price achieved of USD 62,500.00 (€ 45,821.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Collie (Roof), Pink Chair is the most expensive artwork by Elad Lassry that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2014 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Collie (Roof), Pink Chair von Elad Lassry zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 45.821,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Collie (Roof), Pink Chair das teuerste Kunstwerk von Elad Lassry, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
