Auction result well in line with expectations
The work i. Sea Lion ii. Two Elephants iii. Onions Three Works by Elad Lassry was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2021. The price achieved of USD 6,300.00 (€ 5,581.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Elad Lassry have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Collie (Roof), Pink Chair in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 45,821.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit i. Sea Lion ii. Two Elephants iii. Onions Three Works von Elad Lassry kam im November 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.300,00 (€ 5.581,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Elad Lassry auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Collie (Roof), Pink Chair im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 45.821,11).
