The work On The Line by Eileen Quinlan was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2017. The result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,232.63) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eileen Quinlan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Venus Mount, 2020, which sold at auction in April 2021 for USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,390.69).

Die Arbeit On The Line von Eileen Quinlan kam im September 2017 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.232,63) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Eileen Quinlan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Venus Mount, 2020 beobachtet, die im April 2021 für USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.390,69) versteigert wurde.
