Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year Bonhams held the auction Discovery Prints Sale Online, which included the work Woman Up a Tree II by Eileen Cooper. The price achieved of GBP 484.50 (€ 552.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Eileen Cooper have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Conversation in April last year with an auction result of GBP 4,462.50 (€ 5,321.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Discovery Prints Sale Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Woman Up a Tree II von Eileen Cooper zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 484,50 (€ 552,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eileen Cooper auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Conversation im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.462,50 (€ 5.321,37).
