In April 2012 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors Featuring Islamic & Indian Interiors, which included the work A Berkshire stream, Woolhampton by Edward Wilkins Waite. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,993.02), 63% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward Wilkins Waite achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In the Orchard in June 2002 with an auction result of GBP 23,900.00 (€ 36,967.89).

Im April 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors Featuring Islamic & Indian Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Berkshire stream, Woolhampton von Edward Wilkins Waite zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.993,02) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edward Wilkins Waite erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit In the Orchard im Juni 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.900,00 (€ 36.967,89).
