The price achieved of GBP 23,900.00 (€ 36,967.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, In the Orchard is the most expensive artwork by Edward Wilkins Waite that we have observed at auctions so far.
