Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2007 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental & Russian Pictures, which included the work A Rowan tree, Nantcol, Llanbedr by Edward Steel Harper. The price achieved of GBP 500.00 (€ 718.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Other works by Edward Steel Harper have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May last year the work Dockers by a paddle steamer was auctioned for USD 1,530.00 (€ 1,425.78).

Im Oktober 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Rowan tree, Nantcol, Llanbedr von Edward Steel Harper zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 500,00 (€ 718,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Edward Steel Harper konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai letzten Jahres die Arbeit Dockers by a paddle steamer für USD 1.530,00 (€ 1.425,78) versteigert.
