In November 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Woman with a Lyre by Edward McKnight Kauffer. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,562.50 (€ 11,227.27), 59% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edward McKnight Kauffer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Power, The Nerve Centre Of London'S Underground, which sold at auction in May 2011 for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,446.33).

Im November 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Woman with a Lyre von Edward McKnight Kauffer zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 9.562,50 (€ 11.227,27) und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Edward McKnight Kauffer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Power, The Nerve Centre Of London'S Underground beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.446,33) versteigert wurde.
