In the Vintage Posters Online auction, the work London Underground, How Bravely Autumn Paints Upon The Sky sold for GBP 2,040.00 (€ 2,326.89) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward McKnight Kauffer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Power, The Nerve Centre Of London'S Underground in May 2011 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,446.33).
