Auction result well in line with expectations
The work You Can Be Sure Of Shell. Bodiam Castle by Edward McKnight Kauffer was auctioned at Bonhams in London in February 2024. The price achieved of GBP 960.00 (€ 1,606.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward McKnight Kauffer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Power, The Nerve Centre Of London'S Underground in May 2011 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,446.33).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 960,00 (€ 1.606,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden.
