In April 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture, which included the work On The Way To Town by Edward Lamson Henry. The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,958.97) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Edward Lamson Henry have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flower Seller in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 49,350.00 (€ 56,763.29).
