In November 2000 Christies in New York held the auction Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Flower Seller by Edward Lamson Henry. It changed hands for a price of USD 49,350.00 (€ 56,763.29) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Flower Seller is the most expensive artwork by Edward Lamson Henry that we have observed at auctions so far.
