Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Views from southern Europe by Edward Dodwell for SEK 9,000.00 (€ 1,003.17). This price was achieved in the auction Bukowskis Christmas Auction, Stockholm S195 at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 12,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward Dodwell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mount Vesuvius, Italy in June 2003 with an auction result of GBP 13,145.00 (€ 18,890.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Views from southern Europe von Edward Dodwell für SEK 9.000,00 (€ 1.003,17) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Bukowskis Christmas Auction, Stockholm S195 bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 12.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edward Dodwell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mount Vesuvius, Italy im Juni 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.145,00 (€ 18.890,08).
