Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Arizona Cowpunchers; Race to the Wagon, No. 1; Wild Cattle, No. 2 3 by Edward Borein was sold in the Western Art auction at Bonhams in April this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 4,845.00 (€ 4,388.59) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward Borein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Riding a Young One in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 105,000.00 (€ 123,733.21).

Die Arbeit Arizona Cowpunchers; Race to the Wagon, No. 1; Wild Cattle, No. 2 3 von Edward Borein wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Western Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 4.845,00 (€ 4.388,59) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edward Borein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Riding a Young One im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 105.000,00 (€ 123.733,21).
