Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bucking Horse (Galvin 62), n.d. by Edward Borein was sold in the Western Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,536.00 (€ 1,408.14). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward Borein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Riding a Young One in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 105,000.00 (€ 123,733.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bucking Horse (Galvin 62), n.d. von Edward Borein wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Western Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.536,00 (€ 1.408,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edward Borein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Riding a Young One im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 105.000,00 (€ 123.733,21).
