Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Aus: Hommage à Picasso. by Eduardo Paolozzi was sold in the Art of the 20th Century | ONLINE ONLY auction at VAN HAM in July last year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 291.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eduardo Paolozzi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Table Sculpture (Growth) in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 120,000.00 (€ 178,073.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Aus: Hommage à Picasso. von Eduardo Paolozzi wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Art of the 20th Century | ONLINE ONLY bei VAN HAM versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 291,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 200,00 – 300,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eduardo Paolozzi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Table Sculpture (Growth) im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 120.000,00 (€ 178.073,96).
