The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,980.69) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Eduardo Kingman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sin Título in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 104,500.00 (€ 82,322.36).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Untitled (Mujer cargando flores) von Eduardo Kingman kam im Mai 2016 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.980,69) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eduardo Kingman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sin Título im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 104.500,00 (€ 82.322,36).
