In the Rebel spiritsNon-conformist art from Important European collections auction, the work 'Composition'/ 'Composition' sans cadre sold for EUR 14,025.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Eduard Steinberg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Russian Composition 12, 1998 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 103,000.00 (€ 66,161.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Eduard Steinberg erzielte im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Rebel spiritsNon-conformist art from Important European collections wurde die Arbeit 'Composition'/ 'Composition' sans cadre für EUR 14.025,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eduard Steinberg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Russian Composition 12, 1998 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 103.000,00 (€ 66.161,36).
