Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2024 Bonhams in Paris held the auction Rebel Spirits, Part IIINon-conformist art from important collections, which included the work Composition/ Composition by Eduard Steinberg. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 5,760.00 15% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eduard Steinberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Russian Composition 12, 1998 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 103,000.00 (€ 66,161.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2024 führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion Rebel Spirits, Part IIINon-conformist art from important collections durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition/ Composition von Eduard Steinberg zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 5.760,00 und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eduard Steinberg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Russian Composition 12, 1998 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 103.000,00 (€ 66.161,36).
