Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition by Eduard Steinberg was auctioned at Bonhams in May this year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,912.50 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eduard Steinberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Russian Composition 12, 1998 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 103,000.00 (€ 66,161.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition von Eduard Steinberg kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.912,50 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eduard Steinberg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Russian Composition 12, 1998 im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 103.000,00 (€ 66.161,36).
