Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A Canal In A Busy Dutch Town by Eduard Alexander Hilverdink was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in October 2006. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,000.00 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Eduard Alexander Hilverdink have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The river Amstel with the Magere Brug in the distance, Amsterdam in April 2007 with an auction result of EUR 26,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A Canal In A Busy Dutch Town von Eduard Alexander Hilverdink wurde im Oktober 2006 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.000,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eduard Alexander Hilverdink auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The river Amstel with the Magere Brug in the distance, Amsterdam im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 26.400,00.
