Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dutch A Sunny Street In A Dutch Town by Eduard Alexander Hilverdink was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in October 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 4,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Eduard Alexander Hilverdink have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The river Amstel with the Magere Brug in the distance, Amsterdam in April 2007 with an auction result of EUR 26,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dutch A Sunny Street In A Dutch Town von Eduard Alexander Hilverdink wurde im Oktober 2008 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 4.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eduard Alexander Hilverdink auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The river Amstel with the Magere Brug in the distance, Amsterdam im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 26.400,00.
