In March 2011 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now, Art from the 19th, 20th and the 21st Centuries, which included the work Daily activities near a lock on a summer day by Eduard Alexander Hilverdink. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,750.00 38% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Eduard Alexander Hilverdink have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The river Amstel with the Magere Brug in the distance, Amsterdam in April 2007 with an auction result of EUR 26,400.00.

Im März 2011 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now, Art from the 19th, 20th and the 21st Centuries durch, in der auch die Arbeit Daily activities near a lock on a summer day von Eduard Alexander Hilverdink zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.750,00 und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eduard Alexander Hilverdink auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The river Amstel with the Magere Brug in the distance, Amsterdam im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 26.400,00.
