Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2007 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Figures In The Streets Of A Wintry Town by Eduard Alexander Hilverdink. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,500.00 17% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Eduard Alexander Hilverdink have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The river Amstel with the Magere Brug in the distance, Amsterdam in April 2007 with an auction result of EUR 26,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2007 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figures In The Streets Of A Wintry Town von Eduard Alexander Hilverdink zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.500,00 und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eduard Alexander Hilverdink auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The river Amstel with the Magere Brug in the distance, Amsterdam im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 26.400,00.
