Admittedly, works by Édouard Frédéric Wilhelm Richter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shéhérazade in November 2001 with an auction result of USD 160,000.00 (€ 178,611.30).

Die Arbeit Modellpause: a break in the studio von Édouard Frédéric Wilhelm Richter wurde im Oktober 2006 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 26.400,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Édouard Frédéric Wilhelm Richter auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Shéhérazade im November 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 160.000,00 (€ 178.611,30).
