In the Master Paintings & 19th Century European Art auction, the work The Four Rivals changed hands for USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,654.91) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Édouard Frédéric Wilhelm Richter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shéhérazade in November 2001 with an auction result of USD 160,000.00 (€ 178,611.30).
