In May 2005 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art, which included the work A sporting party outside a house by Edmund Bristow. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 16,800.00 (€ 24,802.07), 40% above the upper estimate. Other works by Edmund Bristow have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 30,251.12) in July 2012 for the work Windsor Castle.
