The work Off by Edmund Blair Leighton was sold in the Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art auction at Sothebys in London in July 2018. The auction ended at the price of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,212.20), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edmund Blair Leighton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work God Speed in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 707,750.00 (€ 1,121,870.87).

Die Arbeit Off von Edmund Blair Leighton wurde im Juli 2018 in der Auktion Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.212,20) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edmund Blair Leighton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit God Speed im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 707.750,00 (€ 1.121.870,87).
