A top price for Edith Oenone Somerville - as previously expected
In July 2004 Christies in London held the auction AT HOME - BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES, which included the work Upper lake, Killarney by Edith Oenone Somerville. The price achieved of GBP 1,314.50 (€ 1,986.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Upper lake, Killarney is the most expensive artwork by Edith Oenone Somerville that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juli 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion AT HOME - BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit Upper lake, Killarney von Edith Oenone Somerville zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.314,50 (€ 1.986,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden.
