The work The pass at Killiecrankie by Edgar Longstaffe was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in August 2010. It achieved a price of GBP 812.50 (€ 982.24), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Admittedly, works by Edgar Longstaffe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Loch Lomond in November 2010 with an auction result of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,228.12).

Die Arbeit The pass at Killiecrankie von Edgar Longstaffe wurde im August 2010 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 812,50 (€ 982,24) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Edgar Longstaffe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Loch Lomond im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.228,12).
