Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,812.50 (€ 14,023.46). Other works by Eden Upton Eddis have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 14,400.00 (€ 21,726.30) in January 2007 for the work Group portrait of John Scott, later 3rd Earl of Eldon (1845-1926), and his sisters Lady Selina Scott (d.1891) and Lady Gertrude Scott (d.1919).
