Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Original London Rude Boy by Eddie Peake for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 5,956.19). This price was achieved in the auction Day Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eddie Peake achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Modern Woman Ii in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 47,500.00 (€ 59,912.43).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Original London Rude Boy von Eddie Peake für GBP 5.250,00 (€ 5.956,19) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Day Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eddie Peake erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Modern Woman Ii im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 47.500,00 (€ 59.912,43).
