Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Stand Still in the Middle of Tension by Eddie Kang was sold in the Faces Places: Online Auction auction at Phillips in an online auction in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 37,800.00 (€ 4,570.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 25,000.00 – 45,000.00. Admittedly, works by Eddie Kang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work In the Woods in June 2021 with an auction result of HKD 189,000.00 (€ 20,530.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Stand Still in the Middle of Tension von Eddie Kang wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Faces Places: Online Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.800,00 (€ 4.570,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 25.000,00 – 45.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eddie Kang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit In the Woods im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 189.000,00 (€ 20.530,30).
