Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work 2nd PHASE CHIEF, 1971 by Ed Moses was auctioned at Bonhams in April this year. It achieved a price of USD 7,012.50 (€ 6,351.90), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Ed Moses have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lift, 1991 in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 60,075.00 (€ 53,883.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit 2nd PHASE CHIEF, 1971 von Ed Moses kam im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 7.012,50 (€ 6.351,90) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ed Moses auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lift, 1991 im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.075,00 (€ 53.883,76).
