Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tre ragazzi che giocano by Bernhard Keil was auctioned at Christies in Milan in November 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 10,400.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernhard Keil achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A recumbent shepherd boy with a sleeping dog by his side, a wicker basket at his feet in December 2001 with an auction result of GBP 119,250.00 (€ 194,837.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tre ragazzi che giocano von Bernhard Keil kam im November 2010 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 10.400,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernhard Keil erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A recumbent shepherd boy with a sleeping dog by his side, a wicker basket at his feet im Dezember 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 119.250,00 (€ 194.837,97).
