Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Turquoise Bead Maker by Eanger Irving Couse was sold in the American Art Online auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2020. It changed hands for a price of USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,934.26) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eanger Irving Couse achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Thunder Birds in January 2024 with an auction result of USD 819,000.00 (€ 715,783.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Turquoise Bead Maker von Eanger Irving Couse wurde im März 2020 in der Auktion American Art Online bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.934,26) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eanger Irving Couse erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Thunder Birds im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 819.000,00 (€ 715.783,95).
